Congratulations to Element Testing for being authorized by Philippine BPS

Recently, Shenzhen Element Testing Co., Ltd. (Element) was authorized by the Philippine Bureau of Standards (BPS) and became the first certified electronic cigarette testing laboratory in China.

In 2022, the Philippine Bureau of Standards BPS issued DAO NO. 22-06, which included e-cigarette (including heat-not-burn cigarette systems) equipment and products into the scope of Philippine BPS compulsory product certification. The decree stipulates the certification process and various security requirements, and will be enforced on January 15, 2024.

Element has been focusing on providing testing and compliance services for e-cigarettes and new tobacco products. Through unremitting efforts to improve professional standards and expand testing capabilities, the company successfully obtained recognition of its capabilities from the Philippine Bureau of Standards (BPS) and became the first authorized testing laboratory in the country.
