Packaging requirements

The packaging of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) and similar systems without nicotine (SSSN) must include at least Spanish language information such as manufacturer, manufacturing location, instructions for use, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance

Warning requirements

All e-cigarettes, e-cigarette liquids containing nicotine, or containers containing nicotine must contain a clear and accurate warning statement: "Este product to contact nicotina, sustantia alterante advertisement."

This warning must cover 10% of the main page of the product packaging, with black text on a white background.

Instruction manual requirements

Electronic cigarette liquids must include instructions:

1. Manufacturer and production location

2. List of ingredients

3. Instructions for use, storage, filling, and handling

4. Contraindications (must include but not limited to contraindications for individuals sensitive to nicotine or products containing nicotine)

5. Nicotine must be expressed in concentration (mg/ml)

Child safety protection

The container of electronic cigarette oil must be able to prevent minors from opening or tampering with it.

Sales restrictions

It also prohibits the sale of electronic cigarettes in vending machines, medical facilities (public and private), and to teenagers under the age of 18.
